Aeotec Nano WallSwipe
Aeotec’s Nano range for appliances, lighting, and motor control connect your home’s existing electronics to Z-Wave. WallSwipe takes the enhancement another step.
Connected to Nano Dimmer, Nano Shutter and Nano Switch, WallSwipe brings a whole new level of control to your fingertips and beyond them. Tap, touch, slide or gesture and you can control whatever WallSwipe is connected to.
Normal wall switches offer on and off control. Normal dimmer switches offer a single, manual light setting. WallSwipe creates a Z-Wave switch by fusing together the power of the connected Nano’s Z-Wave Plus, a presence sensor, and touch-sensitive glass normally used in smartphones.
Just like Aeotec’s Nano range WallSwipe is designed to be easy to install.
Connecting WallSwipe to a Nano takes seconds; simply plug WallSwipe into a Nano via the connection port. Attaching it to your wall is just as easy. Compatible with 86mm / 3.4″ gang boxes, WallSwipe can be used with both single and multi switch panels and has been designed to work as a wall switch globally. Adaptable, it’s been designed to be compatible with both square and rectangular switch types in the likes of Australia, the EU, the UK, and the USA.
Sliding your finger up and down WallSwipe’s touch sensitive glass allows you to change the setting of whatever it’s connected to. Swipe up and lights can brighten or curtains open. Slide down the switch and the reverse will happen.
Control your switches without even touching them; simply wave your hand in front of WallSwipe to turn connected devices on or off. Utilising a 6cm IR scanner, WallSwipe can operate in light or the dark allowing you to use your switch without even seeing it.
Go straight to the setting you need. WallSwipe’s glass surface has 11 different control touch-sensitive zones. Tap on any of them, and any compatible device connected to WallSwipe will change direct to that setting. Lights dimmed to 50%? Tap half way. Window blinds fully open? Tap at the top.
WallSwipe’s advanced features don’t all have to be used. For simpler control, WallSwipe can be used as a simple on and off switch. Tap your lights and electronics on, and then tap them off again.
QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
Do you sell the wall plates too? Can you order a two gang plate?
Hi, the Wallswipes haven't become available yet so we've not identified suitable wall plates for them at this stage.
Is the switch able to be connected to multiple nanos for a variety of controls or just to a single nano?
It's connected to a single Nano and directly controls it.
Using either Scenes or Z-Wave Associations via your Automation Hub, you can effectively control multiple Nano's (or other devices) from a single WallSwipe.
